Jhon Dumar Guerrero’s family is made up of many generations of farmers and coffee producers. Besides his coffee farm, El Trapiche Rayado, located at 2,000 and 2,150 MASL, he also owns several other plots of land. He farms corn, rye, and chickens, and is known in his community as a successful entrepreneur. These cherries were picked at the optimal ripeness, then de-pulped, washed, and fermented for 12-14 hours. For 12 days after fermentation, they were dried in ample sunlight on open air patios.
